Part 13/70 Arrogance, Pride, Conceit, Vanity And Haughtiness.

Allah, Most High, says,

"Moses said, "I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not in the Day of Account." (Ghafir (40): 27)

"Verily He loveth not the arrogant." (An-Nahl (16): 23)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
"Once a man was walking along in a new set of clothes, with a swagger to his step, pleased with himself, Allah caused the earth to swallow him and he will keep sinking until the Last Day.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari]

"Tyrants and the arrogant will be raised on the last Day as grain strewn under feet that the people will walk upon.” [Reported by At- Tirmidhi and Ahmad]

Arrogance, as early Muslims said, was the first fault against Allah.

Allah, the Almighty, says,

"And behold, we said to the angels: bow down to Adam: and they bowed down: not so Iblis: he refused and was haughty (accused): he was of those who reject Faith" (Al-Baqarah: 34)

Therefore, Faith is of no avail if arrogance exists, as is Iblis.

The Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Arrogance is belittling to admit the truth and considering people inferior.” [Reported by Muslim]

"Arrogance is refusing to acknowledge what is right and considering others to be inferior.” [Reported by Al-Hakim]

"No one with the slightest particle of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari]

Allah, the Almighty, says in the Qudsi hadith,
"Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster." (Luqman: 18)

Allah, the Almighty, says,
"Pride is My garment and haughtiness My Mantle: whoever vies with Me for them I will throw into Hell.” [Reported by Muslim]

The Messenger (peace be upon him) said,
"A debate took place between heaven and hell. The latter said; in me shall enter tyrant and the arrogant people: while heaven said, "In me shall enter the weak and the lowly." Allah decided the issue by saying,
You are heaven, My mercy, through you I shall have mercy on whomsoever I please; and you are hell, a place of punishment, through you I shall chastise whomsoever I like. It is incumbent upon Me to fill both of you!”
[Reported by Al-Bukhari]

Allah, the Almighty, says,

"And swell not thy check (for pride) at men. Nor walk in insolence through the earth for Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster." (Luqman: 18)

Salama Ibn Al-Akwa' recounted that a man was eating with his left hand in the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet told him,
"Eat with your right." To which the man replied, "I cannot." Though nothing stopped him but arrogance. The Prophet said,"May you not be able to." And the man could never lift his right hand to his mouth again.”
[Reported by Ahmad and Al-Hakim and it is an authentic hadith]

"Shall I tell you who the people of the Hell-Fire are. The cruel, the haughty and the arrogant.”

"There are three people whom Allah will not speak to, look at or exonerate on the Day of Judgement, and who will have a painful torment: he who wears the hem of his garment low (out of pride), he who reminds recipients of his charity to them and he who sells merchandise swearing that he paid more for it than he actually did.” [Reported by Muslim, An-Nisa'i and Ibn Majah]

"What comes down the anklebones of the caftan is in Hell.”
[Reported by Al-Bukhari]
The wickedest arrogance is that of someone who exalts himself over people of his learning and gloats to himself about his superiority. The knowledge of such person is of absolutely no benefit to him. Whoever learns sacred knowledge for the sake of the next world is unsettled by his learning, his heart is humbled and his ego lowered. Such a person lies in wait for his selfishness and never gives it free rein. He constantly takes his ego to task and corrects it. Were he to neglect it, it would diverge from the right path and destroy him.

The person who seeks knowledge to take pride in it or gain a position of leadership, looking disdainfully at other Muslims, thinking them fools and making light to them all this is the most enormous arrogance and no one with the slightest particle of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise. There is no power nor might save in Allah Most High, Most Glorious.

May Allah save us from being all this, Ameen.

***The dowry (MEHR) in Islam***

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.In Islam the mahr (dowry) is one of the rights of the wife, which is hers to take in total and is lawful for her, in contrast to the widespread practice in some countries and many cultures, where the wife is given no dowry, even the husband must be given his dowry. Evidence that the wife must be given her dowry is found in many places, and the rule about it in islam is in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):

“And give to the women (whom you marry) their mahr (obligatory bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart…”[AQ : al-Nisaa’ /4 : 4]
Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “This refers to the mahr (dowry).”Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said, summarizing the comments of the mufassireen on this aayah: “The man must definitely pay the dowry to the woman, and he should not resent it.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):“But if you intend to replace a wife by another and you have given one of them a cantar (of gold, i.e., a great amount) as mahr, take not the least bit of it back; would you take it wrongfully without a right and (with) a manifest sin? And how could you take it (back) when you have gone in unto each other, and they have taken from you a firm and strong covenant?” [AQ : al-Nisaa/4 :20-21] 
Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said: “This means: if any one of you wants to divorce his wife and replace her with another, you should not take anything from what you have already given the first wife, even if it was a huge amount of wealth. The mahr is given in exchange for the right to enjoy marital relations. For this reason Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And how could you take it (back) when you have gone in unto each other…?” The “firm and strong covenant” is the marriage contract. Anas ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him, reported that ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and there were traces of yellow (perfume) on him. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked him about it, and he told him that he had just married a woman of the Ansaar. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked him, “How much did you give her?” He said: “Gold equal to the weight of one date stone.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Give a waleemah (wedding feast) even if only with one sheep.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 4756). The mahr is the right of the wife, and it is not permitted for her father or anyone else to take it except with her approval. Abu Saalih said: “When a man married off his daughter, he would take her mahr away from her, but Allaah forbade them to do that, and gave women the right to the mahr they received.” (Tafseer Ibn Katheer). Similarly, if the wife foregoes any part of the mahr, the husband is permitted to take it, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “… but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it, take it, and enjoy it without fear of any harm (as Allaah has made it lawful).” [AQ : al-Nisaa/4 :4}

Verily, Death is full of agonies”


Madina was totally engulfed in confusion and anxiety. The Companions of the Prophet PBUH had assembled around his house with tearful eyes and grieving hearts. The reports pouring out from the house revealed that his condition was extremely precarious and there was very little optimism in his recovery.... It culminated that only a few moments of his precious life remained.

The Companions of the Prophet were yearning of have a glimpse of their beloved Prophet PBUH from close, but situation demanded that none except the members of the family visit him. The Prophet PBUH kissed his grandsons, Al-Hasan and Al-Husain and recommended that they be taken care of. He advised his wives to remain steadfast in their remembrance of ALLAH. As the relentless pain kept torturing, He turned to wife Aisha and said: “I feel as if death is approaching.” He ordered the people to perform the prayers and be good to slaves. He repeated it several times. The misery of our times is that we are callous with this advice.

The honoured daughter Hazrath Fatimah RA was sitting beside her father’s bed. She kept gazing at his illuminated face and witnessed that the perspiration of death was flowing down his face and forehead. With a heavy heart, tearful eyes, and choked throat, she was reciting the following verse which Abu Talib had recited in praise of the Prophet: “The luminous face in whose honour rains are sought from the clouds. The person who is the asylum for the orphans and the guardian of the widows”.

At this moment the Prophet PBUH, opened his eyes and said to his daughter in a low voice: “This is a verse which Abu Talib recited about me. It will, however, be better if, instead of the same, you recite this verse of the Holy Qur’an: “Muhammad is but a messenger. The messengers have already passed away before him. Will it be that, when he dies or is slain, you will turn back on your heels? He who turns back does no hurt to ALLAH, and ALLAH will reward the thankful.” [Al Imran 3:144]

The Prophet’s love for his only surviving child was one of the most sublime manifestation of human sentiments, so much so that he never proceeded on a journey without bidding farewell to his daughter and upon his return he first sought her audience. He accorded her great respect as compared with his wives and used to tell his Companions: “Fatimah is a part of my body. Her pleasure is my pleasure and her anger is my anger.” (Bukhari)

Throughout the Prophet’s illness Fatimah remained beside him. The Prophet PBUH signalled her to speak to him. She brought her head close to her father’s head and conversed with him in low tones. The people around were unaware of what transpired between them. When the Prophet PBUH ceased talking, Hazrath Fatimah RA wept bitterly. However, soon after this the Prophet made a sign to her again and spoke to her in low tones. This time she raised her head in a pleasant mood with smiling lips. Those present were amazed to observe these two antithetical conditions, and requested Fatimah RA to enlighten them. She replied: “I am not going to divulge the secret of the Prophet of ALLAH”.

After the passing away of the Prophet PBUH, on the insistence of Hazrath Aisha RA, Hazrath Fatimah RA broke her silence and said “In the first instance my father informed me about his death and stated that he was not likely to recover from his illness. Hence, I began weeping profusely. However, when he talked to me for the second time he told me that I would be the first person from amongst his Ahl-al-Bayt who would join him. This made me happy and I understood that I would be joining my dear father very soon”. [Tabaqat Ibn Saad].

When the pang of death initiated, Aisha RA leant Prophet PBUH against her. She mentioned: It was a great Divine favour on me that the Prophet PBUH breathe his last in my room, while I am still alive. He departed between my chest and neck whilst leaning against me. ALLAH SWT enjoined his saliva with mine at his demise. ‘Abdur-Rahman Ibn Abu Bakr came in with a Siwak (tooth stick) in his hand, while the Prophet’s head was in my lap.

I noticed that he was looking at the Siwak. So I asked him: “Would you like me to have it?” He nodded in the affirmative. I took it and gave it to him. As it was too hard for him, I asked him again: “Shall I soften it for you?” Again, he nodded in the affirmative. So I softened it with my saliva and he passed it (on his teeth). There was a water container available at his hand with some water in. He put his hand in it and wiped his face with it and said: “There is no God but ALLAH. Verily, death is full of agonies.” (Bukhari)..

"My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise''

Rabbi ibni lee AAindaka baytan fee aljannati

Surah At-Tahreem ,verse 11



This is the du'aa of Asiya (Peace and blessings be upon her).She was the wife of Fir`awn.



It is mentioned in Surah At -Tahreem .He complete du'aa is ''My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir`awn and his work, and save me from the people who are wrongdoers. ''



Qatadah said, "Fir`awn was the most tyrannical among the people of the earth and the most disbelieving. By Allah! His wife was not affected by her husband's disbelief, because she obeyed her Lord. Therefore, let it be known that Allah is the Just Judge Who will not punish anyone except for their own sins.''



Ibn Jarir recorded that Sulayman said, "The wife of Fir`awn was tortured under the sun and when Fir`awn would finish the torture session, the angels would shade her with their wings. She was shown her house in Paradise.''



Ibn Jarir said that Al-Qasim bin Abi Bazzah said, "Fir`awn's wife used to ask, `Who prevailed' When she was told, `Musa and Harun prevailed', she said, `I believe in the Lord of Musa and Harun.'



Fir`awn sent his aides to her and said to them, `Find the biggest stone. If she insists on keeping her faith, throw the stone on her, otherwise she is my wife. When they came to her, she looked up to the sky and was able to see her house in Paradise. She persisted on the faith and her soul was then captured. The stone was thrown on her lifeless body.''



This is the meaning of her statement,



[رَبِّ ابْنِ لِى عِندَكَ بَيْتاً فِى الْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِى مِن فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهِ]



(My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir`awn and his work,) means, `deliver me from him, because I am innocent of his actions,'



[وَنَجِّنِى مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّـلِمِينَ]

(and save me from the people who are wrongdoers.)



Her full name was Asiyah bint Muzahim, may Allah be pleased with her.She is one of the women of Paradise.



Ibn `Abbas said
, "The Messenger of Allah drew four lines on the ground and said,



(Do you know what these lines represent) They said, `Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said,



(The best among the women of Paradise are Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint `Imran and Asiyah bint Muzahim, wife of Fir`awn.)



It is confirmed in the Two Sahihs from Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari that the Messenger of Allah said,

(Many men have reached the level of perfection, but none among women have reached this level except Asiyah -- Fir`awn's wife, Maryam--the daughter of `Imran, and Khadijah--the daughter of Khuwaylid. And no doubt, the superiority of `A'ishah to other women is like the superiority of Tharid to other meals.)



May ALLAH accept our supplication and grant us a home in Paradise.AMEEN!!!SUMMAMIN!!!!!!!!

STOP SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE...

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam!

These days you won’t find brothers and sister in Islam like this anywhere in the world. Most of them are out there trying to act like:

-Some of them are turning into these so called "PIMPS" or "DIVAS" and dressing like gangster and acting like a Kaffir...

-Some of them are getting pregnant before marriage...

-Some of them are going to wild parties and getting into dangerous situations....

-If you look in the world today...Half of the Muslims have already Pre-martial Sexual Intercourse countless of times before marriage

- Some of them drink Liquor and get DRUNK because they just want to have fun.

- Sadly...Some of them lost control of everything and they will play with each other emotions and they just only use them for their body and money...Lust and Greed

-Some of them are just starting to doubt and not believe in Islam anymore because they are around evil Influences

Can anyone wait until marriage?

DOES ANYONE WANT TO GET 100 EXTREMELY PAINFUL BLOODY LASHES ON THEIR BACKS? Do you really want to be destroyed while everyone is looking at you during Qiyamaat?

MIRACLES IN HOLY QURAN..

God has said in the Quran about one of the evil unbelievers who forbade the Prophet Muhammad from praying at the Kaaba:

No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)! (Quran, 96:15-16)

Why did the Quran describe the front of the head as being lying and sinful? Why didn’t the Quran say that the person was lying and sinful? What is the relationship between the front of the head and lying and sinfulness?

If we look into the skull at the front of the head, we will find the prefrontal area of the cerebrum (see figure). What does physiology tell us about the function of this area? A book entitled Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology says about this area, “The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal area. This is a region of association cortex...”1 Also the book says, “In relation to its involvement in motivation, the prefrontal area is also thought to be the functional center for aggression....”

So, this area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating good and sinful behavior and is responsible for the telling of lies and the speaking of truth. Thus, it is proper to describe the front of the head as lying and sinful when someone lies or commits a sin, as the Quran has said, “...A lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!”

Scientists have only discovered these functions of the prefrontal area in the last sixty years, according to Professor Keith L. Moore
